Tegra 3 Sequel To Asus EEE Pad Transformer Due Out In Q3/Q4?

The current best selling Android Tablet in the market which is the Asus EEE Pad Transformer is expected to be followed up with a Tegra 3 sequel some time in the 3rd or 4th quarter this year. Make no mistake, the EEE Pad Transformer is just second in overall tablet sales after iPad 2 with over 400,000 transformer tablets sold in the first half of this year alone (which makes it about an average of more than 65,000 Transformer Tablets being sold a month) and will definitely be selling a whole lot more with the upcoming Tegra 3 version of the tablet.
With the amount of sales that Asus is generating out of the first generation EEE Pad Transformer, it is most likely that Asus will be slated to become one of NVIDIA's top customers. Besides that, the upcoming EEE Pad Transformer 2 is expected to be powered by the new Tegra 3 System-On-Chip that will be running on the upcoming Android OS dubbed "Ice Cream Sandwich".
