Trace Your Routes Visually With Visual Traceroute

Visual Traceroute is an app that shows you on a map, the path that your data travels to any server in the world. It is similar to using the "traceroute / tracert" command in your command prompt but it displays the route path visually on the map, so you know where it travels to reach your destination site.

The app is very simple to use, just key in the domain name and that's it, the app takes over and you will see the visual routing in action immediately. This app supports both rooted and non-rooted devices but has better support for rooted devices as it uses the "nmap" command instead of the "ping" command to provide better and faster host detection. I've tested this out on my rooted Nexus One loaded with CyanogenMod 7 (as you can see from the screenshot above) and I must say that it works really well. Head on over to the link below to grab Visual Traceroute which costs...well...nothing!
