Lenovo has just announced another new tablet to the world and this time it is the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 which is a 7 inch tablet running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and NOT HoneyComb which I feel is a step backwards and is powered by a single-core Cortex A8 processor with 1024x600 resolution display.
On the storage end, you get 3 options - 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB with pricing options goes for $199, $249 and $259 respectively. There's a 3 MP rear shooter and you'll be getting a front facing camera too and a SD card and microSD card slot as well for expandable storage. Till this day and age, I have no idea why Lenovo is still doing Gingerbread for tablets. But the pricing is really cheap for the 8 GB offering so perhaps that's the catch?
