Astro File Manager Updated With HoneyComb Support!


The most popular file manager for Android and also one of the earliest around - Astro, has finally been updated and the most important change/addition in this new release is a full HoneyComb support which many have been waiting for.

With over 10 million downloads to date, Astro is definitely one of the most popular file managers around although I prefer to use ES File Manager on my Nexus One, I might just give this one a try for my ASUS EEE Pad Transformer.

Apart from the HoneyComb support, there are other changes too. Here's the full changelog:

  • Honeycomb support.
  • Completely redesigned User Interface and icon set
  • Drag and Drop
  • Analytics: ASTRO users, we are gathering non-personal analytics (such as what functions are used the most) in order to better understand user behavior. We will use this so we can focus our development efforts in areas that our customers use a great deal rather than functions that are not. If you do not want analytics, in the Pro Version you can turn analytics off.
