Run Android Apps On Windows With Bluestacks App Player

Here's an interesting app - its called BlueStacks App Player and it is currently available for Windows and what this app allows you to do is simply - run Android apps on Windows! BlueStacks runs Android OS and apps on Windows PCs with instant switch between Android and Windows - no reboot is required.

End consumers can now enjoy their favorite Android apps on Windows PCs. Android apps can appear either as icons on the Windows desktop, or within a full-blown Android environment.

It is basically an emulator running on Windows that allows you to run your favourite Android apps. Take a look at this demo:

Now is that cool or what? The app is currently in alpha form and is available for FREE (for now) and there will be a premium pro version too. The FREE version features:

  • Play Android apps fast and full-screen
  • Push your favorite apps from your Android phone to your PC using BlueStacks Cloud Connect
  • Run 10 pre-loaded apps "out of the box"
  • Install up to 26 more of your favorite apps
  • May not work fast on older netbooks and tablets
  • Available now for Win7, and it's Free

As you can see, it is only available if you're running on Windows 7, no word on whether it'll support Windows XP yet but a Mac support is coming soon. So if you're interested in trying out this app, check out the source below:
