Galaxy Tab 10.1 Gets New Android 3.2 Update But Breaks Wifi

Samsung has just released the Android 3.2 update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners but beware - your wifi will not function properly after the update, at least according to some sources. There's also a list of complaints from numerous users, complaints such as:

  • Wouldn't connect to Wifi with DHCP dynamic IP, only through static IP
  • Will not connect to Kies
  • Everytime you boot it says: "Firmware update failed. Please try installing
  • using Kies (PC)..."
  • Auto-rotate doesn't work.

I would advice against updating to the new firmware first until things are sorted out.

Update: The Firmware update has been pulled by Samsung and they will re-released another firmware update to rectify the issues.
