GTA 3 Release Date,Price & Initial Supported Devices

Rockstar Games has finally announced the official release date, pricing and also initial supported devices for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 3: 10 Year Anniversary Edition for Android. The good news is that the game costs a decent $4.99 and will be released on December 15th, just in time for Christmas.

The above screenshot is taken from an Android device and I must say - it looks really good but the bad news is that at the moment only the following devices (which if you notice, are all Tegra 2 based devices) will be supported during launch:

  • Android Phones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
  • Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive

Even the new Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S II isn't supported but don't fret, I'm sure Rockstar Games will be updating the game to support non-Tegra 2 devices so don't worry.
