Google Docs Updated With New Offline Support & More


Google has just updated their Google Docs for Android app and in this new update brings a new offline mode support in which you can make any file available offline for viewing access even while you are not connected to the internet. There are other changes as well including improved reading experience of Google documents on a tablet and more. Here's the full changelog:

  • Make any file available offline for view access while not connected.
  • Manage offline content, including seeing what’s out of date.
  • Automatic syncing of offline content while on wifi.
  • Star and rename files while offline.
  • Improved reading experience of Google documents while on a tablet.
